Step 1
Undo and remove the cylinder screw. This is located on the lock plate on the edge of the door. Sometimes the screw head is hidden behind this plate. Carefully remove plate to reveal screw
Step 2
Insert the key into the Euro Cylinder. Gently pull on the key whilst turning to the left or right Continue pulling until the Euro Cylinder is free of the door. Sometimes it may help to loosen the door handles if the cylinder is a tight fit
Carefully measure your Euro Cylinder as detailed below. Identify and order your replacement

Method 1 involves measuring the Euro Cylinder in three parts, the first cylinder
section, the centre “cam”, and the last cylinder section. Always measure the shortest
cylinder section first.
When you have your measurements note which side the thumbturn
is fitted.
Be careful. Cylinders with the same measurements can have thumbturn’s on
different sides! This side is shown by the letter “T” in our list below.
Method 2 involves measuring the Euro Cylinder in two parts, each cylinder section
is measured to the centre of the “cam” or fixing hole. As with method one, always
measure the shortest side first
When you have your measurements note which side the
thumbturn is fitted.
Be careful. Cylinders with the same measurements can have thumbturn’s
on different sides! This side is shown by the letter “T” in our list below
